PING PONG / BADMINTON

They ask Mercer and I to go play Badminton and Ping Pong Friday after work ,And I was thinking sure why not this will be fun and something to do, go beat all the people from work at these simple games BOY WAS I WRONG .They were all ready to kick both of our butt's and they all took turns doing it,I don’t think we won one game ,they are very serious about these games.Check out the pictures of the kids playing Ping Pong I could not get over how good they could play the game.

Tianfu Square

This square , overlooked by an enormous Chairman Mao statue is in the center of the city, Every evening at dusk, an elaborate water show to music, bursts out from the square's fountains.This is something to see the the 'dancing' water fountains with coloured lights and music. Tianfu square attracts a lot of people as you can see in the pictures I hope the video works ,this is one of those things you just have to see in person.

Hooters In Chengdu China

Guess what they have a new restaurant in town everybody at home will recognize this place but the locals I am not so sure about .That’s right a Hooters in China no one would believe me so here are the pictures of the Hooter girls China style. Also check out the video too funny.

Shoes And Shirt Required ?

Well you know me I love a good home cooked meal although this is NOT how mama makes it. The Quality group took us out for dinner it was a hot pot restaurant. Now this place had very little air or no air VERY HOT and to add to the problem every body in the restaurant had a boiling pot of hot oil in the middle of the table .The way this works is they bring raw food out and you cook it yourself .Just look at some of the stuff that went into the pot one really caught my eye pig brain and no I did not eat it but my buddy Mercer just like last time will eat anything and yes he did eat it ,he said it really had no taste just fell apart when he tried to eat it. Now check out the pictures of the family behind us they sat down took there shirts off and pulled up there pants ,so our local guy Mercer pulled up his .I just about lost it at this point and by the time we got ready to go we both looked like we had just played a nine inning baseball game wet with sweat.

HOT POT

The Quality team took all of us out to eat Sunday night .Now when I say Hot Pot that is what it is a pot of boiling something your guess is as good as mine .How this works is they bring out raw food and you have to cook it in the Hot Pot, and my buddy Mercer was putting in some crazy stuff like squid , eel ,whole fish, he was saying oh come on Jeff try it .OK you would be proud of me I had to draw the line in the sand ,none for me thanks, again this man will eat anything. After we got done eating we had entertainment .There was one act that would blow you mind ,there was a man that came out dancing and he had on a mask as he danced around his mask would change, it was magic .He could change it very fast ,you could tell it was not his first time he had done this enjoy the photos.
